Service Details

Thank you for allowing our family to work with your family. We hope you will find out exactly how rewarding it can be to use cloth diapers. Please read this in it's entirety as you will receive a written copy to sign and return prior to the start of service. This agreement outlines our responsibilities as well as yours and answers many questions families have.

Let us do the dirty work for you!


Please remember our supreme goal is the Parent's & Baby's Happiness- so our goal is to keep mom and dad happy with the service and baby happy with a cloth bottom!

Policies:

Delivery:

  • Initial Delivery for expecting parents is typically 1-3 weeks before your due date depending on when the service is ordered. For all other parents our goal is to have them delivered within the week. Our Goal is to have the diapers in your home with in 5-10 days of your order however recently we have had growing pains where we actually had to order diapers before we could fulfill any other orders. Please bear with us during this time of growth.
  • Newborns will receive 80 Diapers per week, Infants older than four months will receive 70, and Older Babies will receive 60. If at any point this is not effective for your family please contact us and we are more than willing to make exceptions of these guidelines. These guidelines were set after over year of service statistics being monitored.
  • Customers with accounts in good standing will receive a washable/reusable diaper pail with clean diapers every week on their selected delivery day.
  • Fresh, clean cloth diapers will be delivered weekly. The number of clean diapers are specified by the number you returned the the previous week. (Example- Week 1-Start up Newborn receive 80 clean diapers-returned Zero, Week 2 Receive 80 Clean diapers- Returned 68 Diapers, Week 3 Receive 68 Clean Diapers-Return 63 Dirty, Week 4 Receive 63 Diapers ETC.)
  • If diapers are not returned you will begin to be short in your orders and find you don't have enough to get through the week. We find parents accidentally toss some in the trash, leave in the diaper bag or at relatives at times. Please make sure all dirty diapers make it back in the pail liner. We keep exact counts of all diapers returned and delivered every week so missing diapers will be charged for as per the policy outlined below.

Pick Up:

  • Please Place your diapers out in a front porch or similar area by 10am on your pick up day.
  • Please place the pail liner in a shaded area with the bag fully closed. During periods of bad weather the diapers can be ruined if left open and during summer it can get other visitors. Please make sure it's closed!
  • If you find you need additional diapers in your delivery due to an increase in use or other reason please email us or call us at least 3 days before your scheduled day so we can add these to your order.
  • If your diapers are not available for pick up when we arrive we will try to knock to retrieve them. However if we are unable to we will leave your bag of clean diapers. We will if it's convenient drive by later that day however if there is a 2nd trip a service charge of $10.00 will apply.
  • If you find we have arrived before you were able to get home and put them out please call us asap. If we are still in the area it may save you that charge.
  • If on the 2nd week there is again no diapers left out and we have not been able to schedule a pick up we will not leave any fresh diapers and a 2nd fee of $10.00 will apply. Also, your weekly charge will continue to accumulate until both weeks of diapers are returned.
  • There is a charge of $2.50 per damaged diaper if diapers are damaged by misuse, neglect or loss. Damaged diapers can be caused by using them for any reason other than for baby, missing pick ups, direct sunlight, and even washing them. We do not charge for the first 2 damaged diapers or the first 2 lost diapers after that every single diaper will be charged for.

Care of Diapers while they are in your home:

  • Caring for your diapers is as easy as pie. If baby is nursing exclusively just toss it in the pail. No further work necessary. REMEMBER to keep your covers out though!
  • If baby is formula fed or on solids/table food please dump all solid waste and then toss in the pail.
  • Please makes sure no paper makes it in your pail or Solid waste as both will damage our washing system and facility. This includes disposable wipes, liners or anything else that is disposable. *PLEASE take care- this is very important.
  • PLEASE do not try to wash or pre-treat our diapers, if this is found we have to remove it from service and you may be charged.
  • Please do not use diapers for any reason other than baby!
  • As a Courtesy we will provide disposable liners for all families that have children on solids/table food (or formula though not usually needed) to prevent waste from making into our machines. If you would like to receive these please let us know!

Additional Purchases/Supplies:

  • Drivers do not carry cash or inventory for purchase with them. Please contact us via phone or email prior to delivery to add anything to your drop off (Covers, snappis, etc).
  • Orders from suppliers may or may not be available on your drop off day- we will contact you to see if you want to wait for the next week or have it shipped.

Account Status & Payment Terms:

  • Green Goodness Diaper Service provides weekly rental diapers, laundering of diapers for a variable cost to be paid Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually. For initial purchases we do require minimum of Six weeks starter pack to be purchased.
  • Sales tax does not apply to the diaper service however it does apply to all accessories purchased.
  • All fees must be paid in advance of delivery. We accept Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Money Order, and Paypal (not desired payment method but available).
  • Returned Checks will incur a service charge of $25.00. Service will be suspended until proper payment is made to clear all balances. We will allow once non-sufficient funds check from a client as a courtesy upon the 2nd all future payments must be made but money order or credit card.
  • Green Goodness Diaper Service reserves the right to terminate an account for any reason in poor or good standing.
  • All new service customers must purchase a starter pack of minimum Six Weeks however they may purchase more. There is a $31.00 Account Set up fee built in to these starter packages that covers your diaper pail, rental of 2 pail liners for the lifetime of your service, and the monthly freebie. Monthly freebies range from Snappi fasteners to deo discs or Pail Pals- and Rotate regularly.

Vacations:

  • If you are going on vacation and need a temporary suspension of your service you must call at least one week prior to suspension date of service. You may choose to have pick up of dirties only and be charged only a pick up fee of $10.00 or you may choose to skip the week entirely and if that is case no charges will apply.

Termination of Service:

  • Green Goodness Diaper Service requires two weeks notice of termination of service. If proper notice is not given you will still be billed for the two weeks of service regardless if it is used or not. To be clear this does not need to be an additional purchased two weeks -it can be at the beginning of your final two weeks. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis please contact us if you are having issues.
  • Green Goodness Diaper Service does not refund pre-payments. Please remember this as you pay for packages, while the packages provide for free weeks it is locking you into the service for extended periods of time.
  • We reserve the right to cancel this contract at any time for any reason.
